Have you ever wished to take your family or a group of friends out into the wilderness to experience a remote, wild place but didn’t have the proper resources to execute the idea? Have you ever wondered what it would be like to lead an expedition or a quest and roam the wilderness unencumbered by modern methods of travel and communication that rob you of truly enjoying the experience? Have you ever dreamed of getting away from the noise and the busyness of daily life to be intentional about community and relationships with a group?
The 2025 Leader Training Trip offered by Trail Blaze Outfitters is a 4-day intensive training using the experiential education method of teaching. Participants should expect to be immersed in a comprehensive study of wilderness leadership. The first 2 days will be knowledge-focused, building the fundamentals and preparing you for leading your own trips. The last 2 days will be experience-focused, putting into practice the concepts and giving and getting feedback on your leadership growth.
